White-labeling

Your platform, from the first login to the parent update.

StudySpaces gives tutoring organizations the infrastructure while keeping their own brand in front of students and families.

What can we customize with our branding?+

You can apply your tutoring organization’s logo, colors, domain, and email identity across the student experience. Students sign in to a portal that presents your business, rather than StudySpaces, as the learning brand.

Can we use our own domain?+

Yes. A custom domain can make the platform feel like a native part of your website and program. Your team still uses StudySpaces to manage curriculum, assignments, assessments, and analytics behind the scenes.

How does the parent experience work?+

Parent-facing reports can carry your branding and summarize student progress in a clear, shareable format. Automated recurring parent reports help families stay informed without requiring tutors to rebuild the same update by hand each week.

Do students and parents see StudySpaces branding?+

The white-label experience is designed around your logo, colors, domain, emails, student portal, and parent-facing reports. The goal is a consistent experience that strengthens your tutoring brand at every touchpoint.

Can different tutors work inside the same branded platform?+

Yes. Owners, tutors, and coordinators can work in one organization while students receive one consistent branded experience. Team roles and permissions help each person access the students and operational information relevant to them.

Content availability

Start with ready-made test prep, then make the library your own.

Use StudySpaces content, bring your existing materials, or combine both inside one searchable curriculum workspace.

What is included in the new Assessiv SAT/PSAT library?+

The SAT/PSAT library includes hand-curated Assessiv content built by experienced test-prep educators. The current SAT collection includes 4 adaptive mock exams, 125 targeted drills, and 2,500+ practice questions tagged by skill and difficulty, with hints and explanations.

Is the Assessiv library ready to assign?+

Yes. Tutors can assign targeted drills, questions, and realistic mock exams to individual students or cohorts, then use results to identify weak areas and choose the next lesson or assignment.

What ACT and ISEE materials are coming?+

StudySpaces is expanding its ready-made test-prep content, with ACT and ISEE materials among the upcoming libraries. In the meantime, organizations can already run realistic practice experiences and bring their own ACT, ISEE, SSAT, or other exam content into the platform.

Can we upload our existing curriculum?+

Yes. Import PDFs, DOCX files, CSVs, worksheets, question banks, and flashcards. StudySpaces can turn source materials into structured, searchable, assignable content so your team does not have to recreate its curriculum from scratch.

Can we edit and organize included content?+

StudySpaces is a curriculum workspace rather than a static content folder. Your team can search, tag, group, edit, and reuse materials across students, cohorts, boot camps, and self-study programs while preserving your own methodology.

Does StudySpaces only support test prep?+

No. The platform supports test-prep programs and broader tutoring subjects. You can build questions and flashcards, import existing materials, organize programs, and deliver assignments for the curriculum your organization teaches.

Automation

Automate the follow-through without losing the personal touch.

Reduce repetitive admin around homework, grading, lead capture, and family communication while keeping tutors in control.

Can StudySpaces send automated homework reminders?+

Yes. Automated homework reminders help students remember assigned work between sessions, so tutors spend less time chasing completion manually. Assignments remain connected to the student record, making it easier to review completion and results before the next session.

Is homework graded automatically?+

Quizzes, drills, and supported assessments can be auto-graded when students submit them. Tutors receive scores, feedback, pacing, time-on-task, and weak-area data without manually grading every response.

What are custom diagnostic forms?+

A tutoring business can share a public diagnostic link with a custom intake form. A prospect provides contact details, completes the diagnostic, and your team receives the lead information and score in one connected flow.

Can diagnostic forms support lead generation?+

Yes. Custom diagnostics can turn an assessment into a useful first step in your sales process: collect the information your team needs, demonstrate your expertise, and use the result to guide the consultation or recommended program.

Can automation still reflect our brand?+

Yes. Student-facing delivery, emails, reminders, portals, and parent-facing communication can sit within the same branded experience, helping automation feel like part of your service rather than a separate third-party tool.

What can tutors see before the next session?+

Tutors can review assignment completion, scores, timing, accuracy, skill performance, and question-level results. That shifts preparation time away from finding out what happened and toward deciding what to teach next.

Build vs. buy and ROI

Buy the infrastructure. Keep control of your curriculum and brand.

The relevant comparison is not subscription price versus zero. It is a platform versus the full cost and risk of building, connecting, and maintaining one yourself.

Why buy StudySpaces instead of building an in-house platform?+

Building gives you control, but it also creates an ongoing software operation: product scoping, development, testing, security, bug fixes, hosting, support, and continuous updates. StudySpaces provides working tutoring infrastructure while still letting you control your brand, curriculum, programs, and student experience.

What hidden costs should we include in a build-vs-buy decision?+

Include initial development, integrations, migration, quality assurance, ongoing engineering, maintenance, support, downtime risk, and the opportunity cost of waiting months to launch. Also count the internal time spent coordinating disconnected assignment, exam, reporting, whiteboard, content, and analytics tools.

How should a tutoring business calculate StudySpaces ROI?+

Start with time recovered from curriculum setup, grading, reminders, reporting, and data gathering. Add the value of serving more students, launching new cohorts or self-study products faster, and improving retention through a stronger branded experience. Then compare those gains with the platform cost and implementation time.

Does buying a platform mean giving up customization?+

Not in the areas tutoring businesses usually need to own. StudySpaces lets you shape your branding, domain, content library, programs, assignments, diagnostics, team access, and student journey without funding every underlying feature from scratch.

Can StudySpaces replace multiple tools?+

For many tutoring organizations, it consolidates curriculum management, assignments, auto-grading, realistic mock exams, live tutoring whiteboards, progress analytics, student portals, and parent-facing reporting. Your scheduling, billing, or CRM tools can remain alongside it when that is the better fit.

When might building in-house make sense?+

An in-house build may make sense when software itself is a core product, your workflows truly cannot be served by a specialized platform, and you have the budget and team to maintain it indefinitely. For most tutoring businesses, buying preserves capital and speed for teaching, curriculum, enrollment, and growth.

A practical ROI model

Measure what the platform gives back.

Monthly value

Hours recovered + added student capacity + faster program launches + avoided software costs

Compare the total against subscription and implementation cost, not against the illusion that an internal build is free.

Recover operating time

Automate reminders, grading, reports, and routine follow-up that otherwise repeats every week.

Increase capacity

Reuse programs across students and cohorts while preserving personalized assignments and insight.

Launch revenue sooner

Bring branded cohorts, diagnostics, mock exams, and self-study offers to market without a custom build.
